The setting was great. In fact, it was really close to the surrounding area, the waterfront of Penzance and the centre, train station and harbour.

The bathroom was large, included a drier and bath sheets. Location was incredible and wonderful, right on the Promenade in Penzance. Amiable and welcoming staff and host, they treated us like family.

Its location is stunning.
Thanks to the owner for contributing to our lovely experience for 2 nights. Rooms are spotless and there were lovely beds. It includes best bathroom. The interior is lovely, plus it's housed in a beautiful old building. The place is so close to Chip shop, transport, local attractions, pubs & restarants and Newlyn.

Big bed. The bathroom was reasonably large, upstairs bedroom. Perfect setting next to the sea. Helpful and amicable staff, and the best host ever.

The bed and feather pillows were really comfortable. 🛏️ Having a private bathroom was a plus. The staff and host were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay enjoyable.

The ambiance at Sophia's in Penzance is nice and contemporary. The bed was large and offered lovely views of the sea and the bay. The breakfast was marvelous with a tasty spread including toast, granola, yogurt, and a continental option. The beautiful old style of the building complements the superb inner decor.

The room was stylish with a beautiful sea view and a cozy window seat. The hostess was friendly and provided wonderful little extras like homemade biscuits and bottled water on arrival. The location was perfect, right on the promenade, and parking was convenient. We would definitely recommend this place to friends.
Would have preferred more breakfast choices, but overall it was fine.
